i have been here to Vistamar few years back (maybe 10-12 years ago) and i really did enjoy my time when i was there. so i decided to come back last summer to check how's Vistamar now.

to my surprise, it has changed a LOT! well, i shouldn't be surprised because 10 years have passed already and sure thing there would be changes in the resort. but the changes i saw was a disappointment!

Customer Service - the employees are courteous and i saw their willingness to be at your service. they are prompt in their guest needs and i like how they treated me and my companion

Room - there's nothing special in our room. it is big, can accommodate 2-4 persons, has a refrigerator, has air-conditioner, has a cabled television, has a cabinet, and is complete with towels, soaps, and shampoos. Unfortunately, the toilet flush is not working properly, therefore, you have to flush it manually (e.g. pour a bucket of water) plus the fact that it is expensive! i paid 3k plus for the room! that kind of room would have been cheaper to other resorts

Swimming Pool - the water is clean and i can say that they really change the water everyday. but the walls of the swimming pool is very dirty. it already needs some serious brushing and cleaning!



Beach - major issue here! first off, there is no shoreline on Vistamar. LITERARY! it is my first time to see a beach that has no sand. it's like cemented floor and then the sea. so there's no place for you to sun bath and hang out on the sun. although i have to commend that the water is clean and clear. you can see fishes swim with you even if you're only on the shallow portion of the beach.



All in all, I did somehow enjoy my stay here. its just that when you're planning to go to Vistamar, then don't expect too much (esp. on the scenery) because you will be disappointed.
